René Rechtman brings 20 years experience in international media and technology to Felix, including three major exits.
René Rechtman is co-founder of Moonbug Entertainment, founded in 2018 to build a portfolio of engaging children’s content. The company’s mission is to create content that kids love, and parents trust to positively influence their child’s development. The platform now has 500m viewers.
René was previously Maker Studios’ Head of International, rapidly expanding international business across EMEA, ASIA and LATAM. René was previously CEO of Goviral which he sold to AOL and later CEO of AOL BeOn, where he led the global launch of the branded entertainment platform, and SVP of AOL International.
Prior to this, René spent eight years building TradeDoubler into a leading performance based marketing platform that he helped IPO. René is also an angel investor in several disruptive media, game and tech businesses. He holds a MSc in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Copenhagen.
René has been listed on the Wired Top 100 most influential list.
